As of this past weekend, we are pacifier-free in our house.
We have one BIG 2 year old girl on our hands.
We (meaning me) decided that Carter needed to pass along her pacifier to the Super Babies on Dora. We bought Dora balloons - and told her Dora would take the pacifier to the Super Babies. The idea was all good when we were just talking about it...but when it started becoming real Miss Carter was hanging on tight. With the exception of the first nap post balloon launch, things have gone a lot better than we ever expected. Now when Carter mentions the pacifier, she always adds "Super Babies have it". She's probably wondering when the heck they are bringing it back.
As for now, mommy and daddy thank Dora!
If you could only see her face...she was one sad confused little girl!

That was a good idea! I can imagine what a BIG day that was for her!
love that idea! we traded ours for toys at toys r us--mamie had to "pay" for her toy with them. your idea was great! and there's no turning back from that one! ha!
