I can't believe how long I have been away from blogging. I've missed my daily blog hopping.
Well, I'm finally back!
BIG NEWS - We have moved from Orlando, FL to Memphis, TN.
Barrett decided to take another job with a company from Memphis. Seven years ago, we lived here so it is great to be back home. It's nice eliminating the pressure of learning another city. We had become so comfortable in Orlando - it was difficult to think about living in another city. Yes, there was the excitement about moving to an unfamiliar place but I knew it would fade shortly and I would be left feeling lonely. Barrett's family lives in Memphis so it has been an easy transition and wonderful to see Carter with her grandparents.
My family lives in Nashville so a 3 hour road trip sounds better than an 11 hour one!
As one who has lived away from home for the past 7 years, I can honestly say that it is nice to be back in the South.
So much has happened since I have been away from the blog. Slowly, I will be catching you up on everything...maybe a little faster now because all my favorite shows are on "rerun-summer".
Before we left, our dear friends had a going-away picnic for us. With being away from family for the past 7 years, our friends became our family. We have been so blessed to have such caring friends. I will truly miss each and every one of them.

Helping host your party was our pleasure! I enjoyed looking back at the pictures from the picnic-I still laugh at how windy it was and how everything was blowing away-ha! We miss y'all already but am glad you are settled in!
