We had our first bath experience this week - this is big news in the Mann household. I have been waiting patiently for Carter's umbilical cord to fall off to give her a bath. Of course, Barrett wanted to pull it off from the beginning. She enjoyed her bath. She was the cutest thing! I love her little grin. She is my sweet pea!

This past weekend, Aunt Meg made a trip to Orlando to visit Baby Carter. We loved having her here. She was very helpful; she even woke up with me to feed Carter during the night. I was able to get a few errands done while she was here. Since the arrival of Carter, Barrett and I had our first date night - don't tell him but I thought about Carter the entire time.
We love you, Meg! Please come visit again soon.

The First of Many...
Well, I guess it is about time that I start a blog. For the past year, I have been one of those that glanced at others' blogs but never took the time to create my own. I thought...who wants to read about the life of Barrett and Natalie...we are so boring. But then, on Thursday November 20th at 8:41pm, that all changed. Carter Reese Mann was born at Winnie Palmer Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds and 21 1/2 inches long. This little girl has been the greatest gift of our lives. Barrett and I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. This was the first year of many that I did not participate in the shopping on Black Friday...but to be honest there was not another place I would have rather been than at home with my sweet Carter.
