This is by far my all-time favorite hair purchase...probably beauty purchase!

I'm completely smitten with my Bombshell. Please don't ever separate us - my hair will go in shock! My hair has NEVER been able to hold a curl. I have tried everything but by the time I left the house it was flat again with maybe a slight curl at the bottom. The Bombshell not only holds the curl before I leave the house but it stays around for days (yes, I mean days). If I don't work out, I don't always wash my hair...yes, I know shocker! Anyways, the second day is my favorite with my new friend. The curls are relax and create body.

One with straight hair (and wants a little curl) will never be disappointed with The Bombshell.

Lands' End CANVAS: If you do not receive their catalog, you really should think about it. The clothes remind me a lot of J.Crew but without the hefty prices. I grew up with Lands' End and L.L.Bean catalogs that were a regular around the house. However, Canvas has a little more feminine tone than the regular Lands' End.

Navy Wellies, Riding Boots, and Tretons are on my must-to-have list this season.

Even though it is a 100+ degrees outside, I'm loving the fall clothes that are in the stores and magazines right now. I can't wait until it cools down a bit and I'm able to wear sweaters and jeans...and guess what the perfect shoe would be for my outfit? CLOGS!! They are everywhere right now. I'm thinking about snagging a pair while I have the choice of which one I want. Even though, there is no way in heck I will be wearing them anytime soon (unless I want my feet to start sweating...and of course everyone knows this leads to stinky shoes and no one wants to be that girl!), but it never fails that the pair I want has been sold out for months.

Darn Crocs...

I have mentioned before that Carter has a somewhat intense obsession with shoes. She loves them and can't get enough of them. When she wakes up in the morning, she says "shoes"...maybe she is getting used to our daily bagel runs. She is not picky either...she will wear anyone's shoes. However, lately she is loving the pink Crocs given to her by her Dede. At first, they were too big but now they are fitting perfectly. I think she likes them because she can put them on herself...of course, with a 50% chance she will get them on the right foot. Right now, she is not wanting to wear any other shoes. Today, she had on a really cute monogram dress...but those darn Crocs. Also, did you catch the pacifier in her right hand? She loves this more than shoes...BUT she is learning when Mommy says "pacifier out" she removes it for the camera. (I'm guessing this is when Carter's doctor would insert that she is getting too big for the pacifier.) Believe me, we are working on it.
