Our Week in Pictures

Our week started a little tough for Carter. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, we spent our days on the couch. Carter had a little stomach bug. By Wednesday, she was getting her strength back and found her "winter" gloves. We were dancing around the living room.

On Friday, we went to the Winter Park Splash Park and met some of Carter's friends: Brooks (he looks adorable in Ella's glasses), Andrew and Ella. She definitely had her appetite back: she was taking everyone's fruit. Mom didn't pack the right food items!

Saturday, we had a fabulous day at Gracyn's Pinkalicious 2nd Birthday Party. I will only post a few pictures because I'm sure Hellen will post lots more...and I don't want to still her thunder!

And this is how we ended our week...she literally had it in the bag! She dumped everything from her bag and sat down inside of it. To be so small that you fit inside a LL Bean (small) tote bag!

For Like Ever

I "totally" understand these For Like Ever posters have been around while but they still make me smile every time I see them. The phrase is just so valley girl! How could you not laugh!

Why not add a little playfulness to your decor? We don't always need to be so serious!

Lemon Goodness...

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade via How Does She?

Lemons, Lemons, Fresh Squeezed Lemons. I love lemons, lemonade, the scent of lemons, the color of lemons...they are a bright, cheerful piece of fruit! Even if it's just a bowl of them on a table, it instantly adds pop to a room/kitchen. When I was thinking about this post, I automatically thought of the movie "The Breakup"...with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn.

Vince Vaughn: You asked for lemons. What my baby wants my baby gets.
Jennifer Aniston: These are 3 lemons. I asked for 12. Baby wanted 12.

True, it is hard to make a centerpiece with only 3 lemons!

Here is some lemon goodness I found while browsing the web. I plan on making these lemon bars soon...very soon.

Lemon Bars - recipe found here.

This "LOVE" print would be sweeeeet for a nursery.

"Love Candy" found here.

I would be very happy getting ready in this bathroom...especially if the view from the window is a sunny beach!

Found here via Pinterest.

How cute would these be for a party?

The daily Groupon...

Today's Groupon for Orlando (and probably every other city) is for the GAP. For the purchase of a $25 Groupon, you can buy $50 worth of merchandise from the GAP. So, if you have been eyeing that new cardigan or pair of skinny jeans...you don't want to miss this deal. If you have never heard of Groupon, you have been missing out. They offer daily deals for your city on restaurants, wine bars, yoga, gym membership....about anything you can think of to purchase. There is a catch...you only have one day to purchase the Groupon. After today, the GAP deal will go bye-bye.

Also, for the Orlando folks...something new is coming to town! You might have notice the fabulous new yogurt place in the Dr. Phillips Marketplace...Pinkberry!! It is the best yogurt and better than any other place in town. I had my first taste in California and was hooked! I have been wishing and hoping that they would make there way over to the southern East Coast. They are giving away FREE YOGURT from 6-10pm tonight! Go by and get a taste...you will not be sorry!

Top 10: Clogs

Even though it is a 100+ degrees outside, I'm loving the fall clothes that are in the stores and magazines right now. I can't wait until it cools down a bit and I'm able to wear sweaters and jeans...and guess what the perfect shoe would be for my outfit? CLOGS!! They are everywhere right now. I'm thinking about snagging a pair while I have the choice of which one I want. Even though, there is no way in heck I will be wearing them anytime soon (unless I want my feet to start sweating...and of course everyone knows this leads to stinky shoes and no one wants to be that girl!), but it never fails that the pair I want has been sold out for months.
