Trick or Treat

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!

We went to a Halloween party at our friend's house last night. Tricia, thanks for opening up your home to tons of little ones. Last year, we took Carter trick or treating in my sister's neighborhood in Birmingham. We all had fun...but she was a little too young to know what all the excitement was about. She even fell asleep in her stroller. This year, was COMPLETELY different. She's still young but she caught on QUICK. Daddy took her up to the first home and showed her how to open the bag and say "Trick or Treat". Of course, it just comes out "Treat"...but she always said "Thanks"...sounds like "Tanks". She loved carrying her bag around...she wanted to carry it everywhere today. She was super CUTE in her butterfly fairy costume...minus the pink crocs. I misplaced her shoes at the last minute!

Some of her friends...aren't they all adorable?

Carter wanted to keep going after we all came inside...she likes this candy thing!

Trick or Treat

I have always thought Halloween is a perfect "holiday" to decorate and have some friends over for some yummy treats! Seriously, when else is it OK for adults to sit around and eat CANDY all night??? This dessert table was created by The TomKat Studios to display their adorable Happy Halloween Collection! I love the fancy labels, cupcake toppers, banner...and much more! If you plan on having a Halloween get-together, this party collection would be perfect. It gets better...the collection is on sale. Regular price: $19.00 SALE PRICE $9.50. I might have to buy it now and save it until next year. I'm a sucker for SWEETS & CANDY so I love Halloween parties...but Carter's birthday party this year is going to be the week after Halloween. Unless Martha Stewart (and her team) plans on making a detour to Orlando, I don't think I could survive back-to-back parties. But there is always next year...
