Singing "Stars"

Carter loves singing STARS - aka "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".
It is usually the first thing she says in the morning and the last thing she says at night.

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!!!

New favorite handbag...courtesy of Your Style Scout - I found these great handbags from La Plates. They could be a good diaper bag replacement.

I purchased two of these bracelets this week...one for Carter and one for my niece's birthday.
Stella & Dot has not only adorable jewelry for me...but also for my mini-me!
How cute will this look on a two years old's wrist! They will love it.

Loving my Toms - you remember this post? I found the ones I love and they are super comfy.
I picked up these sparkly ones for Carter. Will she not be super cool?
I made these special treats for a Halloween party...idea from my fabulous neighbor, Leigh!

FINALLY, we purchased our new camera. We decided on a Canon Rebel T1...I'm all giddy with it!

Monogram Bed Linens

I'm always on the lookout for new bedding. Nothing's better than a well-dressed bed.

The bed linens from Leontine Linens are perfection.

Of course, who would want to mess these up!

Statement Necklace

Love the mixture of modern gems and vintage in the new line of necklaces from Eva Fields.
They would be perfect for a simple Fall outfit.

Now, which one should I choose?

How often do our little ones like to use Mommy and Daddy's electronics?
Every time I get out our video camera, Carter wants to hold it and see things on the screen. Fisher Price has provided us with a Kid-Tough Video Camera for our children to take their own videos. It will survive drop after drop after drop. The video camera has a 1.4" color LCD preview screen that allows the kids to instantly playback the videos.

Purchase at Amazon.com for $54.97.
Addition to the video camera, Fisher Price has the Kid-Tough Digital Camera.

Paper Mondays

How sweet are these pink and yellow baby announcements!
Rachelle from Wiley Valentine and Michael from Czar Press welcomed their baby girl Piper.
I guess this is what happens when a stationery designer and printer create their daughter's birth announcement...pure genius!

The envelopes are gorgeous inside and out!

Friday Favorites

My favorite thing EVERYDAY is spending time with my daughter, Carter.
Thanks to my fabulous (and 9 months pregnant) friend, Ny, we have some pictures of our bible study's fall festival from today. The kids had a great time running around with each other. Carter loved the tunnel and kicking the soccer ball with Ella.

Hair Update: As you can see from the above picture, I did go DARK...but kept the length.
Still getting used to it...but I am HAPPY!

The Triwa Watch was featured on Martha Stewart this week.
These are my favorite colors. They are pretty reasonable...I'm thinking they need to be added to my Christmas list.

Check out other colors here.

Since we lost our camera several weeks ago, we have been looking at purchasing a new "fancy" one. I plan on moving out of the "point and shoot" world into the SLR world. Thankfully, our local camera shop offers "get-to-know your camera" class.

I look forward to one day having a big, fabulous kitchen. Both houses that have been home to Barrett and I have had small kitchens. Most of us would admit that the kitchen is the gathering place for the home. I love the idea of an open kitchen...with plenty of counter space and seating!
White Cabinets, Marble Countertops, White Subway Tiles, Dark Hardwood Floors...
Can you put a kitchen on your wish list? If so, this would be my kitchen.

Check out those pendant lights! Love them!
